Welcome
On the left you'll see a nav-bar which leads you to the Topics Projects ..which are proggies by me including
- pml - Perl script for easy site management
simple P(arsed/erl) Markup Language is a perl-script collection where it's possible to create your own tag functions (in Perl) and use them in your html doc. It's similar to wml(while not as powerful) but you can only use perl-statements in tag definition and has the advantage over wml that there are pre and post tags. Post tags are always executed after the normal tags so it makes it easy to create toc and multiple doc and site-navigation.
- kchunk (bin/cue -> iso conversion)
Using kchunk you can convert bin/cue pairs to iso images on your linux box to burn them afterwards with a recording program (e.g. cdrecord). Although Fireburner is expected to be ported on linux, i'ts not available at time of writing this)
- gimp-scripts
Only one yet namely 'Fontintoshadow': is a gimp script you can use for easy site navigation - creation. Just have a look what can be done with a free os and free software.
I wanted to include some of the projects we already made at the 'Syntaxpraktikum' and the 'Methodenpraktikum' in Uni, but i'm sorry i lost a bunch of them. So wait for some more 2 come :).
I'm getting on writing a tutorial (afaiht) for linux/unix newbies.
If you're interested in how i made up this site just have a look at the (using Pml-Page (simple (P)arsed (M)arkup (L)anguage in Perl) running best under mandrake :), or if you prefer any other os (preferable linux :)) that can execute perl scripts.
Have fun, Best Wishes for whatever u do,
Andi
